Welcome to Way's Ranch Horse Rescue!
Starting out in August of 2011 my family and I took in some horses in need of proper nutrition, hoof care, some medical attention and most importantly a need for love. After these horses we came to the realization that there is a great need for this kind of thing in our area and the areas surrounding us. Starting out as a family affair word quickly got out and a group of volunteers surfaced with a heart to serve and a love and passion for horses.
Ways Ranch serves as a rescue for horses from slaughter, mal nutrition, abuse, lack of appropriate living circumstances and most of all the lack of love and care. WE strive to bring the horse to a healthy state emotionally and physically by giving each one that comes in medical attention, a proper diet and exercise, proper training, and good ol TLC. Upon arrival with us the horses begin the process to be readied for a forever home!
We believe our love and passion for these horses in providing for them the means to be healthy and happy will not only benefit the horse but the family surrounding it as it becomes a beacon of peace and a bond between one and the horse is created. We became certified with the state as an LLC in August of 2012 and we are currently in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) in becoming a Non-Profit organization. We have very high hopes and goals of things we would like to obtain and accomplish in the near future. For example our hearts are set on becoming a therapeutic option for children with mental and physical disabilities, battered women, adolescent teenagers and whomever else that would benefit from the results equine therapy can provide. We can't wait to see what God has in store for us here and ready and willing to make it happen to the benefit of the horses and the people surrounding them!

We are keeping our hands full with all of our new babies and loving it! We now have 4 fillies and a little colt! They are defiantly the life of the party here at the ranch. So fun to watch the little personalities that each of them already has. We are having fun with the little guys while preparing for a couple more to make their arrivals!
